Documentation flush completes; Pinocchio baseline enters the next projection

2026-07-18Category: announcements

The nine-gate manual and website checkpoint is complete, while benchmark and metadata follow-up work remains accurately labeled.

The full-stack documentation vertical has completed all nine controlled gates, from comments, contracts, HELP, and manualgen through public-source staging, website publication, and cache-bypassed live verification.

The accepted checkpoint includes:

  • a 4,118-line, 237-heading developer manual;
  • 183 command-reference pages: 164 reader-linked and 19 supplemental;
  • 3,974 command-lineage rows;
  • an 11-path reviewed website projection; and
  • exact manual and publication metadata for repeatable verification.

The follow-up projection is intentionally separate. Pinocchio now has an eight-row historical before/after benchmark ledger and a machine identity rule, preserved with its plan, runners, validator, and closeouts in public source commit 853937f1. The original runs did not record the machine, and the post-correction raw timing transcript was not located, so the website preserves those limits instead of turning the numbers into a release guarantee.

Documentation closeout records are now public-source preserved. Comments collection audit records remain in their development lane pending separate review. METACOLLECT-238 stays a separate 238-finding mission rather than being silently folded into the completed run.
