Documentation Progress

Current source-to-website documentation flush, accepted manual snapshot, active follow-up lanes, and publication boundaries.

This page is the public progress surface for the full-stack documentation pipeline. It reports completed checkpoints and separately labels work that is still local, under review, or waiting for public-source promotion.

Maintained current status -- as of 2026-08-26 (v6 development closeout and local website reconciliation; publication not entered). This permanent page contains both immutable publication checkpoints and a replaceable current-state section. The current task registry and next gates are available at Current Tasks & Projects; the full second vertical is documented at Full-stack Documentation Push.

Published checkpoint — 2026-07-18

The documentation-to-x64base.com vertical completed all nine controlled gates:

source comments and metadata
-> contracts and HELP/CMDHELP evidence
-> manualgen acceptance
-> staging and public-source promotion
-> reviewed website projection
-> GitHub Pages publication
-> cache-bypassed live verification

The completed run records 45 chronological milestones and 519 evidence files. The accepted public projection is bound to website source commit 43f120a4 and GitHub Pages commit 0ef77ea9.

Current development vertical -- 2026-08-26

DOCFLUSH-20260825-001 completed its development-tree closeout and the local website delta pass. It is review-needed and not publicly deployed.

LayerCurrent measured state
Source contracts1,082 tracked source files carry @dottalk.file; 231 files carry @dottalk.usage; coverage is 100 percent
HELP462 legacy command rows; 2,614 argument rows; 670 reachable topics; 29,480 line rows; structural and direct-join checks pass
Canonical HELP/META harvest14/14 required tables current; 63,217 exported rows; guarded replacement and rollback evidence retained
Function surface75 implemented specs and 75 SYSFUNC rows; website catalog regenerated as 73 core plus 2 extension examples
Manual candidateMANRUN-20260826T012054Z-B9F8B8BD; 25 sections, 19 media items, and 13 appendices; accepted as review-needed with no publication replacement
Website source239/239 command rows, zero fallback; count-bound diagram regenerated; local production build 171 static pages and 164 indexed pages
Current gateE0-E7 proven; E8 separately governs manual acceptance, source staging, and website publication

The first website regeneration preceded the required matrix read and was rejected as an E0 attempt. The pass restarted from the matrix, reclassified the touched surfaces, regenerated from source, and repeated the checks and full build. The process correction is retained rather than rewritten as an uninterrupted pass.

The accepted public reader and the 2026-07-18 publication checkpoint below remain sealed. The current manual estate is treated collectively pending a separate hardening decision; the website links to it and does not claim that the v6 candidate replaced the accepted reader.

The reviewed progress and Pinocchio evidence packet is now preserved in public source commit 853937f1. This website projection reports that promotion without converting development benchmark evidence into a runtime-release claim:

LaneCurrent statePublication rule
Pinocchio historical benchmarksEight-row baseline, plan, runner, validator, and machine identity rule are public-source promoted; historical machine is now maintainer-attested (Alienware m16 R2 / Intel Core Ultra 9 185H).A public evidence commit is not proof that the navigation correction is in a tagged runtime release.
Comments collection audit trailCurrent-source reharvest, live COMMENTS reload, rollback manifest, and governance evidence are complete in the development lane.Keep snapshots immutable and review mutations before public-source promotion.
Documentation closeout recordsGate 6–9 results, progress ledger, publication closeouts, and reproducibility tools are preserved in public source.Append later closeouts; do not rewrite the sealed evidence packet.
Messaging normalizationLarge source change set passed regression without obvious canaries; the responsible COMMENTS and HELP reharvest has now completed.Preserve the reharvest and command canaries with the next reviewed source promotion.
METACOLLECT-238Separate mission created from 238 metadata-collection findings.Do not fold the backlog silently into the completed vertical.

Accuracy rule

The website reports progress; it does not promote implementation truth by itself. A local or experimental lane stays labeled until its source, contracts, tests, review state, and public commit are available. New public pages should be inspected alongside neighboring project-truth, current-lanes, downloads, manual, and metadata pages so a correct new statement does not leave stale contradictions nearby.
