64x64base

Open architecture doctrine published

2026-07-09Category: press-releases

The manuals and site now present indexing, GUI, and extension seams as first-class x64base architecture.

The current publication pass makes the x64base architecture story explicit instead of leaving it implied.

This update aligns the public narrative around several active seams:

  • INX, CNX, CDX, and LMDB as distinct indexing families with different roles
  • SCX and SIX as educational and lab-facing index experiments
  • CLI, TUI, ERSATZ, wx, and Python workbench lanes as consumers of runtime truth
  • command, function, trigger, polling, and documentation seams as intentional extension points

The practical rule remains simple:

  1. the engine owns database truth
  2. front ends and browsers consume that truth
  3. HELP, metadata, SelfDoc, manuals, and the site describe and validate it

This release is not a branding rewrite. It is an architecture clarification pass so students and contributors can see where experimentation is welcome and where runtime ownership must remain centralized.
